This policy explains how HempyTails delivers orders placed online or via WhatsApp. We aim to get quality pet products to you quickly and safely across Bengaluru and, for many items, across India.
Delivery areas
- Bengaluru (local): in-house delivery by our own team across the city.
- Rest of India (outstation): via trusted courier partners such as Shiprocket, where the product and destination allow.
Local delivery — Bengaluru
- Free delivery on orders over ₹500.
- A flat delivery fee of ₹49 applies to orders under ₹500.
- We aim for same-day or next-day delivery within the city where possible, depending on order time, location and stock.
- Our team may contact you on WhatsApp to confirm delivery timing.
Outstation shipping — rest of India
- Shipped via courier partners; charges are shown at checkout based on weight and destination (typically from ₹99).
- Estimated delivery is usually 3–7 business days depending on location.
- Some items (for example certain prescription products or perishables) may be available for local delivery only.
Order processing
Orders are usually processed within 24–48 hours of confirmation (excluding Sundays and public holidays). You’ll receive updates on WhatsApp, and a tracking link for outstation shipments once dispatched.
Prescription items
Prescription medicines and therapeutic (prescription) diets are dispensed only against a valid veterinary prescription. For these items we may need to verify your prescription before dispatch, which can add a short delay. Our vet team at Old Airport Road can help if you need a consultation.
Order tracking
For outstation orders, you’ll receive a tracking link by WhatsApp/email once your parcel is handed to the courier. For local deliveries, our team keeps you updated directly.
Store pickup
You’re welcome to collect your order in person from either store, open daily 10 AM – 10 PM. Let us know on WhatsApp and we’ll have it ready.
Delays
Occasionally, delivery may be delayed by weather, courier disruptions, incorrect/incomplete addresses, or stock issues. If anything affects your order, we’ll let you know as soon as possible.
